FUMi comes in 4 strengths: 4mg, 8mg, 11mg and 15mg per pouch. On the can these are called Regular, Strong, Extra Strong and Ultra Strong. 8mg has the most flavours, and 15mg is limited to Freezy Mint, Spearmint and 3 of the Fiery flavours.

FUMi Buying Guide
FUMi makes 12 flavours in 4 strengths, from a mild 4mg to a strong 15mg per pouch. Choose from clean mints, fruits with an ice or mint finish, and a Fiery range that pairs fruit or mint with chilli. These guides cover how each flavour tastes and which strength suits you, so you can choose the right can first time.
Which FUMi should you buy?
If you're new to nicotine pouches, start with a 4mg Regular in Freezy Mint, Strawberry or Blackcurrant. If you already use pouches at 6mg or more, try an 8mg Strong, where you'll find 11 of FUMi's 12 flavours. The 11mg and 15mg cans are recommended for more experienced users with strong cravings.
| Name on the can | Per pouch | Our band | Flavours | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Regular Mini | 4mg | Mild | Freezy Mint, Watermelon Mint, Strawberry, Chilled Cherry, Blackcurrant | Your first can, or all-day use at a low dose |
| Strong | 8mg | Medium | Every flavour except Freezy Mint, including all 4 Fiery cans | Regular pouch users, and anyone wanting the full flavour list |
| Extra Strong | 11mg | Medium | Freezy Mint, Spearmint | A step up from 8mg in a mint flavour |
| Ultra Strong | 15mg | Strong | Freezy Mint, Spearmint, Fiery Mint, Fiery Peach, Fiery Lime | Experienced users who buy strong pouches already |
8mg has the most choice of flavours. 11 of the 26 FUMi cans we list are 8mg, and it's the only strength that includes Minty Blueberry, Green Apple and Fiery Mango. Every can holds 20 pouches and costs the same, whatever the strength.
How FUMi names its flavours
Most FUMi names come in 3 parts: a word for the twist, the flavour, then the strength. Fiery Peach Ultra Strong is peach with chilli at 15mg. Chilled Cherry Regular is cherry with ice at 4mg.
| First word | What it adds | Cans |
|---|---|---|
| Fiery | Chilli heat | Fiery Mint, Fiery Peach, Fiery Lime, Fiery Mango |
| Freezy Chilled | Ice and cooling | Freezy Mint, Chilled Cherry |
| Minty Mint | Fruit with a mint layer | Minty Blueberry, Watermelon Mint |
| No first word | The flavour on its own, no ice or chilli | Strawberry, Blackcurrant, Green Apple, Spearmint |
The strength word comes last. On a FUMi can, Regular means 4mg, Strong means 8mg, Extra Strong means 11mg and Ultra Strong means 15mg. Mini cans skip the strength word because every Mini is 4mg.
Zyn uses "Regular" for its larger pouch size, so a Zyn Regular starts at 9mg. On a FUMi can, Regular is the mildest strength. Check the mg figure if you're switching between the 2 brands.
FUMi Slim vs FUMi Mini
FUMi Slim is the main format. A Slim can weighs 14g, so each pouch is about 0.7g, and every strength from 4mg to 15mg comes as a Slim.
FUMi Mini is roughly half that. A Mini can weighs 7.1g, about 0.36g a pouch, and holds the same 20 pouches. It's shorter and thinner under the lip, so it's the one to choose if you can feel a Slim and would rather not.
Both formats deliver 4mg per pouch at the mild end. The Mini packs that 4mg into half the material, so its label shows 11.3mg/g where a 4mg Slim shows 5.7mg/g. The dose per pouch is the same.
FUMi makes 3 Minis, all at 4mg: Freezy Mint, Watermelon Mint and Strawberry. Each also comes as a 4mg Slim, so you can compare the 2 formats with the same flavour.
How moist are FUMi pouches?
Every FUMi pouch is moist, in both Slim and Mini. They feel soft and slightly damp straight from the can, closer to Pablo than to a dry pouch like a Zyn Mini. Moisture changes how fast the flavour and nicotine come through, so it's worth knowing which type you prefer.
| Type | Benefits | Drawbacks |
|---|---|---|
| Moist | Flavour and nicotine come through within a minute or two. Softer under the lip. | Flavour fades sooner than a dry pouch. Can dry out if the lid is left open. |
| Dry | Slower, steadier release that lasts longer. Less drip. | Takes a few minutes to get going. Can feel firmer at first. |
If you want flavour from the first minute, FUMi's moist pouch suits you. If you prefer a slow build, a dry pouch is the better choice.
Which FUMi strength should I choose?
FUMi labels its cans in mg per pouch, so the number on the front is the dose in each pouch. Some brands print mg per gram instead, which makes the figure look bigger. Here's how FUMi's Slim cans compare on both measures.
| Per pouch | Per gram | Name on the can | Our band |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4mg | 5.7mg/g | Regular | Mild |
| 8mg | 11.4mg/g | Strong | Medium |
| 11mg | 15.7mg/g | Extra Strong | Medium |
| 15mg | 21.4mg/g | Ultra Strong | Strong |
The per-gram figure can be confusing when you compare brands. It's not always an accurate measure of how much nicotine you get per dose, because it measures total weight, which can vary from brand to brand. For example, a KILLA tub says 16.5mg/g and gives you 13.2mg per pouch. Whereas a FUMi Ultra Strong says 21.4mg/g and gives you 15mg per pouch, so the FUMi is the stronger pouch of the 2.
Move up one step at a time, and give each strength a few days before deciding. The gap from 4mg to 8mg doubles the dose, so if 4mg feels too light, an 8mg Strong is the next stop.

FUMi's Fiery range explained
4 FUMi flavours carry the Fiery name, and each pairs a fruit or mint with chilli heat.
The heat level depends on the flavour. Fiery Mint is a clean mint that finishes with a subtle kick of spice. Fiery Peach adds a spicy kick to sweet, floral peach, while Fiery Mango and Fiery Lime both pair their fruit with hot chilli.
Every Fiery can is 8mg or 15mg. There's no 4mg Fiery option, so if you're new to pouches, start with a 4mg Regular and come back to the Fiery cans once 8mg suits you.
At 15mg, Fiery Mint, Fiery Peach and Fiery Lime combine chilli with FUMi's highest nicotine strength. Those 3 are for people who already use strong pouches. Fiery Mango only comes at 8mg.
Looking for Salty Violet or Tangy Strawberry?
FUMi arrived in the UK in May 2025 with 9 flavours, including Salty Violet, Salty Raspberry, Tangy Strawberry and Prickly Pear. The line-up has changed since, and some of those names aren't part of the range we stock.
| If you liked | Try this instead |
|---|---|
| Tangy Strawberry | Strawberry, at 4mg, 4mg Mini or 8mg |
| Minty Blueberry | Minty Blueberry 8mg, still in the range |
| Freezy Mint | Freezy Mint, now in 4 strengths and a Mini |
| Salty Violet or Salty Raspberry | No FUMi match. For liquorice, see KILLA (13.2mg) |
The Salty flavours used liquorice, and there's no liquorice option in our current FUMi range. If you want a FUMi with an unusual edge, the Fiery range is the place to look.
Who makes FUMi, and is it snus?
FUMi is made in Sweden by Helix AB, part of Altria, the group that also makes on! nicotine pouches. on! is a small, dry pouch. FUMi is the slim, moist one, with more flavour choice.
People often search for "FUMi snus", but FUMi is a tobacco-free nicotine pouch. Real snus contains tobacco leaf and can't legally be sold in the UK. FUMi uses the same under-the-lip format with no tobacco in it.
Here's what goes into a FUMi pouch, taken from the Freezy Mint can: plant cellulose (E460), water, salt, flavourings, a humectant to keep it moist (E1520), acidity regulators (E330, E500), a stabiliser (E1201), nicotine and sweetener (E955). The pouches are all white.
Is FUMi the right brand for you?
FUMi suits you if flavour choice matters as much as strength. 11 of its 12 flavours come at 8mg, so you can try most of the range without changing your dose.
The Fiery range gives you 4 chilli flavours to choose from, and the Mini gives you a smaller pouch at 4mg.
If 4mg is more than you want, Zyn's Mini range starts at 1.5mg. If 15mg isn't enough, Pablo's Gold Edition is 17mg per pouch and its Original line is around 30mg.
How to use FUMi nicotine pouches

Keep the pouch in for 30 to 60 minutes, or take it out sooner if it feels too strong. Bin used pouches in a general waste bin, never flush them, and never swallow a pouch.
Open the Can:
Take out one pouch.
Place Under Your Top Lip:
Against the gum, then leave it alone.
Expect a Tingle:
Plus chilli heat on a Fiery can.
